Directions

From Springfield:

Driving East on RT. 72, leave the interstate at the first Decatur exit onto
RT. 36 East following signs to Decatur. Continue on RT 36 for 7 miles
through Decatur. After crossing Lake Decatur on the East side of town, turn
right at the first stop light. This is the intersection of RT 36 and
Country Club Road. Continue on Country Club Road for about 1/2 mile and
you will see the museum on the right hand side.

From Champaign:

Driving West on RT 72, exit the interstate at exit #144 (Rt. 48 to Oreana or
Decatur).  Turn left onto Rt. 48 toward Decatur.  At the north edge of
Decatur, Rt. 48 turns West.  DO NOT TURN WEST/RIGHT.  Continue South on
Rt. 121 South/East (also 22nd St), crossing over the Staley/William B.
Sands Viaduct (bridge).  The second traffic light past the viaduct, turn left
(East) onto Rt. 36/Rt. 121.  Just after crossing Lake Decatur, at the traffic
light, turn right (South) onto country club Road.  Follow curves around,
approximately 1/2 mile, we'll be at the bottom of a curve on the right.   

From Taylorville:

Going north on RT 48, turn right on South Side Drive. Continue on
South Side for .8 mile, then follow the signs to RT 51 Business North to
Bloomington and Lake shore DR.  You will make a left turn and cross over
Lake Decatur.  Stay to the right  as  you cross the bridge  and follow
Lake Shore/RT 105 East for 1 mile until you reach the turn for
Lost Bridge Road, which is the third stop light. Turn right and continue on
Lost Bridge for 1.4 miles until you reach Country Club Road.  Turn left and
follow Country Club Road for .5 miles, and we are the second entrance on
your left.

From Lincoln:

Drive into Decatur on 121, and continue to the intersection of
RT 51/Main Street.   Turn right.  Continue for 2.2 miles until you come to
Eldorado/RT 36 east. Turn left and continue on RT 36 for 3 miles. When the
road forks, be sure to keep right.  After you cross Lake Decatur, turn right
at the first stop light at the intersection of RT 36 and Country Club RD.
Follow Country Club Rd. for 1/2 mile until you see the museum on the right.

From Bloomington:

Driving South to Decatur on RT 51, continue 4.5 miles, until you reach
Eldorado St./RT 36.  Turn left and continue on RT 36 for 3 miles. When the
road forks, be sure to keep right.  After you cross Lake Decatur, turn right
at the first stop light at the intersection of RT 36 and Country Club RD.
Follow Country Club Rd. for 1/2 miles until you see the museum on the right.
