Mission: To design a structure that will protect an egg when dropped from a balcony in the Museum entryway! When: March 20 and 21 Time: Construction starts at Noon and the drop starts at 1:00 Fee per entry: $1 per member; $1 plus admission per non-member Rules: The scores will be determined using the Egg Drop Competition official rules. The goal of the Egg Drop is to make the lighted vessel for safely transporting the egg as well as the most accurate landing on the drop zone. Preregistration: Supplies will be available on a limited basis. We suggest that you preregister to ensure a spot in the competition. Walk-ins will be taken the day of the event, pending space. Call the Museum at 217-423-5437 to preregister. |
